Briefly, there is reciprocity principle meaning you are permitted to buy any kind of property in Turkey that a Turkish national would be allowed to buy in your country. Can I purchase more than one property? Yes. You can buy as many properties as you want. You will need to wait for the permission from the army headquarters which will take about three months, after you receive your permission you can get the title deed on to your name. Are the properties freehold or leasehold? All the properties are 100% freehold. Is purchasing property in Bodrum a good investment opportunity? Do I have to use a solicitor to purchase a property? You don't have to use a solicitor to purchase a property in Turkey. For mobile contracts you'd simply have to apply in person at the local branch of the mobile company of your choice. Can the title deed have more than one name on it? It can have as many names as you want on it.
