                  Can foreigners buy any property in Turkey? 
                    Yes, they can. There are a some small restrictions. 
                    Briefly, there is  reciprocity principle meaning you 
                    are permitted to buy any kind of property in Turkey that a 
                    Turkish national would be allowed to buy in your country.
                 Can I purchase more than one property? 
                    Yes. You can buy as many properties as you want. 
                  If I own a property in Turkey, are there any limits to the 
                  amount of times I can come to Turkey to use my property? 
                    No. There are no limits. You can come to Turkey whenever 
                    you want.
                  How can I come to Turkey to view your properties? 
                    As soon as you book your flight to Turkey you can 
                let us know  your flight details and we will arrange your 
                    airport transfers and your accommodation  at very good rates. 
                  How do you apply for visas, residence permits, etc? 
                    You will need your passport and 6 passport sized photos and 
                    apply in person to the relevant Security Office in your 
                    area. You will be asked to fill in an application form.  There will also 
                    be a charge depending on your circumstances of residence. 
                How would I know when to make my payments if I purchase a 
                  property from Paradise Court ? 
                   Paradise Court provides payment plan to all of their 
                    clients which details clearly when each payment is required. 
                    The payment plan will also be written on the sales 
                    agreement. After we receive the payments we will send you a 
                    receipt.
                  What are the tax regulations like for capital gains outside 
                  Turkey if you want to be a resident in Turkey? 
                    Although these could vary depending on whether there is a 
                    bilateral agreement between your country and Turkey, as 
                    Turkey has such agreements with 55 countries for the 
                    avoidance of double taxation. 
                  How long does it take to own the property in my name? 
                    You will need to wait for the permission from the army 
                    headquarters which will take about three months, after you 
                    receive your permission you can get the title deed on to 
                    your name.
                  Are the properties freehold or leasehold? 
                    All the properties are 100% freehold.
                  Is purchasing property in Bodrum a good investment 
                  opportunity? 
                    Property prices in Turkey are really reasonable at the 
                    moment. It's a good idea to purchase a property now because 
                    the property prices are constantly rising.
                  Do I have to use a solicitor to purchase a property? 
                    You don't have to use a solicitor to purchase a property in 
                    Turkey. But if you wish to use one we can recommend good 
                    solicitors for you or you can use your own solicitor.
                  What is DASK? 
                    It is the mandatory earthquake cover, an insurance/tax 
                    required by government. All insurance companies offer this 
                    particular cover for the same price as it's a government 
                    enforced one.
                  Can I rent out my property? 
                    Yes you can. We have a property management service and we 
                    can assist you to rent out your property if you require.
                  What kind of taxes will I have to pay? 
                    You will need to pay 1.5% buyers tax. Approx. £300 for the 
                    municipality fees, interpreter, title-deed office fees and 
                    etc.
                  What other currencies are accepted in Turkey apart from the 
                  Turkish Lira? 
                    Euro, Sterling and dollars are accepted. 
                  What is the crime rate in Turkey? 
                    According to the statistics crime rates in Turkey is much 
                    lower compare to Spain and UK.
                  What kind of TV channels do you receive in Turkey? 
                    Cable TV offers quite a lot of foreign channels. You can 
                    also get satellite dishes to receive choice of channels. 
                  Can I open a bank account in Turkey? 
                    Yes you can. You will need to take your passport and tax 
                    number to be able to open an account. 
                    It is useful to open an account so that you can pay utility 
                    bills via direct debit. 
                    Banks are open from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
                  How do I get land line connected / mobile phone contract? 
                    For landlines, you would need to apply to the local Turk 
                    Telecom office with your passport and a paper from the local 
                    "Muhtarlik" (this is the smallest unit of local authority 
                    dealing with administrative procedures in your 
                    neighbourhood) confirming your address. For mobile contracts 
                    you'd simply have to apply in person at the local branch of 
                    the mobile company of your choice. 
                  Can the title deed have more than one name on it? 
                    It can have as many names as you want on it. You will need 
                    to provide passport copies, tax number 2 passport sized 
                    photos, full names and addresses of all the persons that 
                    will have their names on the title deed.
                  Will I be able to stay in Turkey for a long term? 
                    Yes you can. All the foreigners will need to get a residency 
                    visa from the officials. Real Estate Bodrum can assist

                  Will I be able to get building insurance? 
                    Yes you can. Paradice Court Management can assist you on this if 
                    you require. 
                  If we decide to move to Turkey is it possible to bring our 
                  furniture with us? 
                    It is possible to bring your furniture, but the tax on the 
                    electrical goods are very high when entering to Turkey. We 
                    recommend you to sell your goods in the UK and buy the same 
                    quality in Turkey, for a very reasonable price.
                  What will happen to my property when I die? Can the Turkish 
                  Government have any claim to my property? 
                    The husband/wife and the children will inherit the property. 
                    The Turkish Government can not have any claim to the 
                    property.
                  Can we take all of our money out of Turkey if we decide to 
                  sell our property? 
                    Yes you can. It's a better idea to do this via bank so that 
                    the money is recorded leaving and entering the countries.
